Likert Scale

The Likert Scale is a scale used to create questionnaires. The Likert Scale category provides three Likert Scale Types; Likert Scale (Agree/Disagree), Likert Scale (Frequency) and Likert Scale(Importance). The options are predefined and they allow users to select one option from a list of five options. They are identified with the orange arrows on Figure 18.

Likert Scale (Agree/Disagree)

The Likert Scale(Agree/Disagree) type allow users to select an option based on if they agree or disagree with the statement. Users are allowed to select one option from a list of five options; Strongly Disagree, Agree, Undecided, Agree and Strongly Agree.

    Likert Scale (Agree/Disagree) Type Example
  1. On Figure 18,  "Groceries are Expensive" is entered for the Title field.

  2. Then in the Type drop down menu, Likert Scale (Agree/Disagree) is selected to specify users have a list of agree options.

  3. On the action form, identified on Figure 19, Strongly Agree is selected.

Likert Scale (Frequency)

The Likert Scale (Frequency) type allow users to select an option based on how often they perform the statement specified. Users are allowed to select one option from a list of five options; Very Frequently, Frequently, Occasionally, Rarely, and Very Rarely. 

Likert Scale (Frequency) Type Example
  1. On Figure 18, "Shop Online" is entered for the Title field.

  2. Then in the Type drop down menu, Likert Scale (Frequency) is selected to specify users have a list of frequency options.

  3. On the action form, identified by Figure 20, Occasionally is selected.

Likert Scale (Importance)

The Likert Scale (Importance) allows users to select an option based on the importance of the statement. Users are allowed to select one option from a list of five options; Very Important, Important, Moderately Important, Of Little Importance and Unimportant.

Likert Scale (Importance) Type Example
  1. On Figure 18, "Coupons" is entered for the Title field.

  2. Then in the Type drop down menu, Likert Scale (Importance) is selected to specify users have a list of options based on the level of importance.

  3.  The action form, identified by Figure 21, Very Important is selected by the user.
