Predefined Fields

Action Form allows you to add predefined fields to the action form. You can add one or more predefined fields by selecting the required field then click on the Add Predefined Fields button, identified with the green arrow on Figure 1. It is next to the Add Custom Field button. This will open the Predefined Fields window, identified on Figure 2.

Predefined Fields Window

The Predefined Fields window allows you to insert predefined fields into the Fields section. The Fields section specifies a list of fields applied on the action form. When you select or deselect a field in the Predefined Fields window they are added or removed from the Fields section and therefore the action form.

The predefined fields generated from the Predefined Fields window, also specifies the applicable Type. The selected fields in the Predefined Fields window are included on the action form. If the fields are not selected the fields are not included on the action form.

Figure 2 are included in the Fields section, identified on Figure 3, on the Form Builder (Step 2: The Form) page and displayed on the action form, identified on Figure 4.

Add and Remove Predefined Fields

  1. To add a predefined field, select the check box next to the predefined field in the predefined window, identified on Figure 3.

  2. To remove a predefined field, clear the check box next to the predefined field in the Predefined Fields window, identified on Figure 3.

    • You can add or remove one or more predefined fields.

  3. When you are done adding or removing the predefined fields, click on the Save button, identified with the blue arrow on Figure 3, to apply the changes.

  1. In the Predefined Fields Window, identified in Figure 3, Username is selected as the predefined field to add.

  2. The Username Predefined field is saved with the Save button identified with the blue arrow.

    3.    The Username field is now added in the Fields section, identified on Figure 4. Notice that the Username Type is generated for the field type.
