Execute SQL Queries

Action Form allows you to execute SQL queries when the form is submitted. You can execute up to four queries using the SQL Query fields, identified with the blue arrow on Figure 2. You can apply form tokens, for example [FirstName], as well as My Tokens. When you apply string tokens ensure that they enclosed in single quotes. You can also save the output of the query by using the And Save Output in Token field, identified with the orange arrow on Figure 2.

On the Submit Actions (Step 3:Resource/Action) page, identified on Figure 1, you will need to select the Should some SQL Queries get executed? check box to enable the action.

Enter SQL Query

  1. To enter a SQL Query, select the check box next to the Should some SQL Queries get executed? question, identified with the blue arrow on Figure 1.

    • The SQL query window will open with four SQL Query fields that will allow you to save the query output and reuse them.

  2. Then enter the SQL Queries in the SQL Query text boxes provided, identified with the blue arrow on Figure 2. You can enter up to four SQL Queries.

    • If necessary use the resize controls at the bottom right of the text box to resize the text box.

  3. In the And Save Output in Token field enter the sql query output to reuse.

  4. Then click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
